Silver Cascade Falls

Silver Cascade Falls can be reached by a short and easy hike in the heart of Cheyenne Canyon. Starting at Helent Hunt Falls parking, cross the bridge over the waterfalls and then continue up the well maintanined trail. There are handrails and graded steps along the way that make the hike easy and safe even for smaller children. At the end you will reach overlook with views of the waterfalls and the city in the east peeking through the mouth of the canyon. The falls themselves are created by a creek running down large slabs of rock.

Directions: Coming south on I-25 take exit 140. Drive on South Tejon Street to Cheyenne Boulevard. Keep driving until you reach the entrance to the canyon by Starsmore Discovery Center. Take right to enter the canyon and drive up to Helen Hunt Falls parking lot.
