Welcome to my website !
This site contains a list of various trails in Colorado Springs area with
photos, GPS tracks, relevant USGS topo maps and links to other useful websites.
The best way to access the data is using Google
Earth program. This
will enable you to view hiking trails in three dimensions with aerial imagery
overlay plus you can see the exact location for many of my photos. You
can also display trail maps directly in your browser by using the full screen
google map option. You can chose from several different background overlays
that google offers. If you have GPS unit you can upload the GPX tracks and
waypoints from the site and use them to help with navigation.
All gps tracks and photos were recorded by me personally within last 2 years
so they should be pretty accurate. Still, things do change so use
common sense when you're out hiking.
