Seven Bridges Trail

Seven Bridges is a popular trail in the Cheyenne Canyon. The trail follows the North Cheyenne Creek and is named after the bridges that cross it along the way. It's a great trail for kids, to cool down on a hot summer day and a beautiful hike in fall when aspens turn colors.

After parking at the trailhead walk through the gate to the Gold Camp Road. Walk an easy 0.7 miles on this former railroad bed. After you reach the bend on the road look for the Trail 622 marker on the right and exit the road. Enjoy the hike through the canyon as you cross all seven bridges. You will reach the last one after about 1.6 miles. This is a good place to soak your feet in the water and return back. The other option is to continue on the trail to Jones Park.

Difficulty Rating:

Distance: 1.6 miles to the last bridge.

Directions: Coming south on I-25 take exit 140 and get on Cheyenne Blvd via S Tejon St. Drive all the way until you reach Cheyenne Canyon. Drive past Helen Hunt falls until you reach parking lot at intersection with Gold Camp Road
