Scar Mountain, also known as Queens Canyon Quarry or The Greg Francis Bighorn
Sheep Habitat is a bare hill easily visible from most of Colorado Springs.
It is located just north of Garden of the Gods with Queens Canyon forming
its western side. It is pretty steep and because it is bare it offers great
views.
Directions: Take exit 146 from I-25 and drive west on Garden of the Gods road. Turn left on 30th street and drive 0.5 miles. Turn right to enter Glen Eyrie property. You must sign a release to hike in Glen Eyrie. Hiking is allowed Monday through Thursday, 9AM - 4PM. For more information visit their website.
